Nestling at the bottom of the world famous Courchevel valley, the town of Bozel is perfectly located to be the base for your summer holiday in the Alps. Bozel has a fantastic feel to it in the summer and unlike many of the purpose built resorts higher up in the mountains it loses none of its charm and atmosphere when the snow melts and the temperature rises.
The town itself has a swimming lake with a safe swim zone watched by lifeguards during the summer, tennis courts, football pitch, and running track, a parapent landing zone, basketball courts and boule courts. In the surrounding woodlands you can enjoy shaded walks around the village or follow them further a field to some of the picturesque alpine hamlets and better known ski resorts in the area. The apartment itself is in a peaceful area called Les Moulins, a short walk from the centre of town with bars, restaurants and shops. Equipment for most of the activities in the area can be hired in the town.
It is surrounded by spectacular mountains and whichever point of the compass you follow you will be overwhelmed by the variety of activities available.
To the South of Bozel, Courchevel 1850 is just a short drive away where lifts run up in to the mountains during July and August for easy access to the other valleys of the famous Three Valleys area and to hundreds of kilometres of well marked mountain bike and walking trails and the highest via ferrata in France.
To the North Champagny en Vanoise is a ten minute drive away with more trails leading up to unspoilt pastures below Mont Jovet and the Paridiski area.
To the West is Pralongnan la Vanoise—second only to Chamonix as a summer climbing and walking destination in France.
To the East are the renowned spa town of Brides Les Bains and the Meribel valley. Meribel is home to an 18 hole golf course and a swimming, ice skating and fitness centre open throughout the summer.
